Job Summary: 
The Manager Sales Enablement Applications is responsible for leading the development of backlog priority and end-user optimization of single and multi-channel systems, applications, and tools in support of Consumer Power topline revenue goals. Key accountabilities include maximizing user satisfaction, channel partner growth and overall application/tool effectiveness.

This position collaborates closely with Consumer Power sales leadership, IT development teams, UX/UI design, business analytics, customer experience and channel management teams in support of shared goals.

This position operates with a significant level of independence and decision-making rights in optimizing system performance, developing and tracking KPIs, and setting design and functionality strategy and roadmaps. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Owns CP channel sales enablement platforms including G360 and b2b ecommerce
  • Utilizes product management structure to create and owns short- and long-term platform roadmaps
  • Leveraging a business case-based approach, sets priority for platform development/backlog based on ROI, user feedback, platform performance, and KPIs
  • Develops the platform vision by focusing on the user experience; leverages deep understanding of customer journeys to ensure frictionless experience for channel partners
  • Collaborates with leadership teams across IT, business teams and executive leadership to ensure alignment with overall business strategic priorities and growth goals
  • Drives sales through successful integration of sales and marketing strategies, and new product commercialization plans
  • Develops KPIs and success metrics; reporting cadence to sales and channel leadership
  • Manages communications and training in support of growth and adoption goals
  • Utilizes competitive insights, industry trends, and customer feedback to drive optimization and adoption of industry best practices

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Minimum of 8 years direct experience working in sales enablement platforms in B2B or B2C environment, including 3yrs experience in leadership roles
  • Experience developing long-range platform roadmaps
  • Experience creating, implementing, and reporting against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior multi-channel program and/or systems experience within a large, matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated ability to be a systems thinker, focusing on the whole/macro level and the integration of the various parts
  • Prior training - both content development and facilitation
  • Effective and proven influencing skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in CRM systems
  • Demonstrated ability to translate internal feedback and external industry insights into winning strategies. Deep understanding of market segmentation and customer journeys in B-to-B environment
  • Ability to build relationships and work in cross-functional structure
  • Deep understanding of B-to-B sales processes through direct and distribution channel models
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and across multiple audiences and organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key partners to develop and execute strategy
  • Experience building the digital applications and product backlogs

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Up to 20% travel.
