Job Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Retail Account Coordinator Team, as well as supporting the retail sales team with contract negotiation, implementation, and execution to help reduce compliance fines and optimize the OTC process for new and existing accounts. This role will also help the sales team to investigate and clear deductions from key retailers. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Selects, coaches, and develops staff. Sets clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manages performance by recognizing achievement, providing feedback, and administering progressive discipline when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with customer contracts obligations.
  • Review open order and backlog reports.
  • Ensure team maintains customer accounts and product information in accurate and timely manner. 
  • Escalate system, product/inventory and or shipping issues to appropriate internal departments. 
  • Work with team and internal departments to recommend and implement process improvements to increase productivity and customer satisfaction while maintaining on-time delivery.
  • Design and implement metrics to assess team performance and identify opportunities for improvement as well as successes.
  • Other duties as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree in Business or Equivalent Experience
  • 3 years of Sales or Customer Support Experience
  • 2 Years’ experience leading teams, developing people or organizing tasks

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous process improvement experience
  • Intermediate to advance Microsoft Excel skills
  • Previous experience using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) 
  • Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
