Job Summary:


DR Power Equipment’s South Burlington Vermont office is seeking Technical Support Specialists to join our Technical Support team! 

Technical Support Specialists answer calls from our customers who have technical questions about our outdoor power equipment. This position helps provide solutions to our customers!

Details:

  • Seasonal, lasting up to 6 months
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • 4 week paid training

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Parts sales
  • Field inbound, trouble shooting phone calls
  • Support Customers with questions about their outdoor power equipment

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical demands:

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or a combination of education & experience.
  • 3 months experience in customer service or mechanics
  • Computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus.
