Job Summary

Primary responsibility for managing and related websites, digital marketing campaigns, email campaigns, and other digital initiatives. This position is the lead for digital marketing campaigns and projects, as well as ongoing operational areas of and related digital properties. This role works directly with internal customers to define objectives and requirements, define the plans, and manage execution. This role manages members of the broader digital team (Digital Advertising, Email, Social, Content Management) to see that campaigns and projects are executed on schedule and meet or exceed quality expectations.


Lead digital marketing campaigns, from requirements through deployment to reporting
Manage operational responsibilities such as content updates to and related websites
Present reporting on digital marketing campaigns to senior management
Designs and directs the work of the team. Selects, coaches and develops staff. Sets clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manages performance-- recognizing achievement, providing feedback, and administering progressive discipline when necessary.
manage the overall digital marketing campaign and project portfolio and provide forward-looking projections of digital team resource demands
Support the budgeting and expense reporting process for the digital team

Minimal Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in marketing or equivalent experience
5 years experience managing public-facing websites, digital marketing campaigns, email campaigns and related digital work
3 years managing personnel in a marketing function

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Content Management Systems, such as Kentico, Sitecore, or Sitefinity
Experience managing digital advertising campaigns, including Google Ads and Facebook, with an emphasis on lead generation
Experience managing mass email campaigns
Proven, sustained success increasing B2B and B2C lead generation year-over-year
Both B2B and B2C digital marketing experience
Experience in digital marketing outside the US and Canada
Experience coordinating editorial content across multiple digital platforms
Command of A/B and multivariate testing techniques
Proven understanding of consumer buying behavior online
Prior use of customer segmentation in digital settings
Experience collaborating with Marketing teams
Experience managing budgeting and expense reporting
Experience with website analytics
Thorough knowledge of pay-per-click campaign setup and optimization

Physical demands: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.  The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.  On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.  The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
